TYPES  OF  PROFILES  WOOD-AL

     The variety of design options for the Wood-Al profile system allows the use of wood and aluminum windows and doors, both in the design of modern buildings and in the restoration of architectural monuments of the past.
     Based on two types of thermal gaskets, three types of exterior aluminum profile design: CLASSIC, BASIS, COMBI , and three variants of the internal wooden part of the profile (a, b, c), nine different profile subsystems are formed. Wood-Al HTI (Table 1.) and the same for the Wood-Al MTI profile (Table 2.), i.e. In total EIGHTEEN options (INTERACTIVE TABLES 1, 2).
     DECORATIVE aluminum lining and outer molds ("mufflers") of various configurations complete the variety of design of products.
     A comparison of the structural characteristics of the two types of the WOOD-AL profile system (HTI and MTI) is given in (TABLE 3).
     A carefully developed flexible production technology allows the ARCHITECT OR CUSTOMER to consider all variants differing in exterior and interior design at the design stage of the facades and interiors of the building. Further, a wood species is selected and decisions are made on the color scheme of the inside of the window.
     Thus, for each customer, an individual profile is formed for the production of windows.
     The new generation of the profile system WOODAL-PH has increased thermal insulation properties and the ability to install triple-glazed windows up to 80 mm thick. The abbreviation PH (Passive House) implies the use of WOODAL-PH windows in the design and construction of so-called "passive" and low-energy houses.
